Rod Taylor
Rod Taylor was an Australian actor who had a successful career in both film and television. He was born in Sydney, Australia and began his career in the 1950s as a radio announcer and television host. He soon moved into acting and made his feature film debut in the 1958 Australian film King of the Coral Sea. Taylor gained international recognition with his starring role in the Alfred Hitchcock thriller The Birds (1963). Throughout his career, Taylor was recognized for his talent as an actor, receiving a Golden Globe nomination for his performance in The Time Machine.
